What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dental Assistant position at Diamond Dental?
As a Dental Assistant, you will play an essential role in delivering an exceptional patient experience while supporting our doctors and clinical team.
Responsibilities include:
Prepare operatories before patient arrival
Chairside assisting during restorative, cosmetic, surgical, and emergency procedures
Take digital radiographs and intraoral photographs
Perform iTero digital scans (training available)
Prepare and sterilize instruments following OSHA and CDC guidelines
Turn over and disinfect treatment rooms efficiently
Maintain organized and fully stocked operatories
Assist with temporary restorations and impressions as permitted
Educate patients on oral hygiene, treatment, and post-operative instructions
Document treatment accurately in Open Dental
Assist with inventory and supply management
Support same-day treatment opportunities
Work collaboratively with doctors and team members to provide exceptional patient care

Preferred Qualifications
Dental Assisting experience preferred (1 years)
Connecticut Dental Assistant experience preferred
Digital radiography certification (preferred)
Open Dental experience (preferred)
iTero experience (preferred but willing to train)
CPR Certification
Experience assisting with implants, crowns, and cosmetic procedures is a plus
