Family Dental Group is looking for a Dental Assistant in Brewster, New York to assist our clinical team by providing a high level of patient care and satisfaction while operating in a team-based environment.

- Full time: Monday 8am-5pm, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 9am-5pm, and Fri 8am-4pm

Responsibilities
- Clinical Support: Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and assist dentists during procedures.
- Patient Care: Welcome, comfort, and educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure infection control protocols, maintain patient confidentiality, and follow workplace regulations..
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, including scheduling and patient intake (if needed)
- Helps dentist manage dental and medical emergencies by maintaining CPR certification, emergency drug and oxygen supply, and emergency telephone directory.
Qualifications
- Must have at least 1 year of hands on experience
- Nitrous Oxide certification is highly recommended
- High school diploma or equivalent
Dental Assistant are also expected to maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA, CPR, and infection control training as required by law.
