Purpose:

As an Assembly Technician, you'll play a crucial role in installing and troubleshooting various components such as hydraulics, axles, tires, electrical systems, and flooring. With a focus on maintaining cleanliness and safety in the work area, you'll ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality. If you have a knack for problem-solving, good communication skills, and the ability to adapt to different work environments, then we want you on our team.

Responsibilities:

• Install and troubleshoot hydraulics, axels, tires, electrical, and flooring.
• Capable of working in both Powder Booths and Wash Bay.
• Performs tests on specific parts and systems to ensure proper function.
• Maintains a clean and safe work area.
• Must be physically able to access vehicles and equipment either by kneeling or lying on their back.
• Good communication skills.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
• Flexibility in working at different Diamond C locations.

Qualifications:

• Basic knowledge of measurement, hand and power tools.
• Preferred knowledge of all aspects of hydraulics, axels, tires, electrical, powder application, and flooring.
• Ability to read and follow manuals, work orders and trailer specifications to meet quality standards.
• Frequent exposure to odor, noise, dust, heat, cold and airborne particles.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Prolonged periods of standing.
• Detail oriented.
• Ability to adapt to change in the workplace.
• Mechanical/technical school program or Apprenticeship in auto repair or related fi eld preferred.
• Previous related experience preferred.
• On-the-job training provided.
