Scope Technical operations role responsible for operating, maintaining, and improving packaging line equipment to deliver high-quality products safely, efficiently, and on time. The Technical operations is accountable for executing production activities in adherence to safety, quality, environmental, and operational standards, while also supporting team-based problem-solving and continuous improvement. Purpose of role Responsible for managing and operating the machinery as well as carrying out Autonomous maintenance on the machines, Quality at source and support Asset Care team on maintenance tasks. Top accountabilities Startup, Operates, shutdown and monitors the equipment performance according to the SOP Adheres to Environment, Health and Safety procedures and standards Capture accurate data and update on provided reporting platforms Maintain high standards of hygiene by keeping the equipment and surrounding areas clean Deliver product that meets all quality requirements and performing Quality at Source Tasks Run equipment in compliance with the design parameters Responsible for the proper maintenance and safe operation of all machinery under his/her control. Conducts look-listen-feel inspections of the equipment and initiate work requests (Condition Based Monitoring) Performs equipment changeovers and required adjustments on the equipment effectively Perform Autonomous Maintenance Tasks i.e. CILT and application of LOTOTO where necessary. Perform and Support Asset care activities during maintenance/breakdowns Use of escalation Matrix upon process deviation/breakdown Solves situational problems by using troubleshooting tools Adherence to Quality Triggers as per SOP Use of MMS Best Practices as Way of Working and sustain. Adopt and use as Ways of Working all the digital systems/platforms introduced by the business i.e., Orbis, Harford, STRATA etc. Ensure operations are with minimal cost by reducing waste. i.e., Water, Energy, time, material, extract etc. Raise PM notification and feedback completed work orders in SAP Qualifications: FTC or Diploma in mechanical/electrical Skills & Experience: Experience in handling machines and autonomous maintenance for at least 1 years in manufacturing industry .
