Security Guard

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires strong observational skills, the ability to handle conflicts effectively, and a commitment to upholding safety protocols. The Security Officer will monitor CCTV, respond to incidents, and enforce security policies.

Security Officer / Front Reception

Job Duties:

• Secures premises, personnel and other customers by monitoring surveillance equipment;

customer interaction, inspecting building, equipment and access points.

• Obtains help by sounding alarms and/or calling local authorities.
• Prevents losses and damage by reporting irregularities.
• Maintains environment by monitoring and setting building and equipment controls.
• Maintains organizations stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Enforce company and client policies and procedures for customers, vendors & staff.
• Practice sound conflict resolution with difficult or combative individuals and/or incidents.
• Identify areas of safety concern.
• Validate and check all customer identification pertaining to document expiration.
• Patient/Customer intake & check-in at front reception area.
• Verifying doctor recommendations & age requirements pertaining to medical & adult use

customers.

• Interact with the public in a very friendly and professional manner.
• Maintain a strong and visible presence at all times.
• Moving cases/boxes of product upwards to 40 lbs when delivered to designated areas for

product intake and labeling.

• Assist in labeling products once intake is completed.
• Perform daily cleanup tasks of areas assigned which may include sweeping, mopping,

cleaning chalk boards, etc.

• Maintain accountability of computer equipment and iPads pertaining to the position.

Position Requirements:

• Maintain a valid unexpired government issued ID or Drivers license
• Must have and maintain reliable transportation
• Have and maintain a current and valid Guard Card.
• Flexible work schedule as you may be required to work holidays, nights and weekends if

needed. Shifts and hours assigned are subject to change at the discretion of the company.

• Pass a Department of justice fingerprint Livescan background check through the city.
• Occasionally lift heavy objects up to 40 lbs.
• Prolonged periods of sitting and working on a computer.
• Ability to climb, crouch, reach, bend and crawl as it pertains to the job duties above.
• Knowledge of how to properly operate computers and iPads.

Pay: $17.00 per hour
