Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to provide human resources leadership and support across multiple Distribution Centers. This role covers key areas such as recruitment, benefits, training, employee relations, engagement, safety, and HR compliance. You’ll ensure consistent application of policies and serve as a liaison with internal departments and staffing agencies.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead HR processes including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, compensation, benefits, performance management, and workforce planning.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies.
- Partner with temporary staffing agencies to fulfill open positions and audit compliance.
- Manage and develop HR Business Partners and subordinate staff.
- Coordinate and deliver training programs for employees.
- Investigate and resolve employee issues and conflicts.
- Monitor compliance with OSHA and other HR-related regulations; maintain OSHA log.
- Participate in HR audits and recommend improvements.
- Drive employee engagement initiatives, including opinion surveys and performance improvement programs.
- Collaborate with Area HR Manager, HR Director, and Corporate HR on employee relations and disciplinary matters.
- Perform special projects and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field preferred; PHR certification a plus.
- Experience:8 years progressive HR experience (including recruitment, employee relations, benefits, safety).
- 5 years supervisory experience.
- Experience in warehouse or production environments preferred.
- Skills:Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level of confidentiality.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work flexible hours (including early mornings/nights once per week).
- Travel: Up to 10% to visit sites and attend meetings.
Physical Demands
- Regular sitting (25–75% of shift), frequent standing and walking.
- Ability to work in a warehouse setting and adapt to operational needs.
