DG Foods – Poultry Processing Production Associate
Position Summary
DG Foods is seeking dependable, safety-minded individuals to join our poultry processing team. Openings include production associates, debone line associates, poultry cutters, packaging team members, material handlers, and general laborers. Team members play a vital role in producing high-quality poultry products while maintaining food safety, quality, and workplace safety standards.
Essential Responsibilities
- Process, trim, debone, cut, package, label, and inspect poultry products.
- Operate production equipment and use knives and hand tools safely.
- Maintain production goals while meeting quality and yield standards.
- Follow all GMP, USDA, HACCP, and company food safety procedures.
- Keep work areas clean and organized.
- Wear required PPE and report safety or equipment concerns immediately.
- Support team members and perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required
- At least 18 years old.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Reliable transportation.
- Willingness to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and varying shifts.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork.
Preferred
- Poultry, food manufacturing, warehouse, or production experience.
- Experience using knives, hand tools, or production equipment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Physical Requirements
- Stand and walk for extended periods.
- Lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
- Perform repetitive tasks using hands and arms.
- Work in cold, wet, and refrigerated conditions.
- Wear required PPE, including cut-resistant gloves, hairnets, safety glasses, and hearing protection.
