Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Concrete Finisher Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will assist in the completion of concrete finishing projects by preparing, pouring, and finishing concrete surfaces with precision and care. Duties
- Assist in the preparation of concrete forms and setting up formwork according to blueprints and specifications
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and concrete mixers safely and efficiently for pouring and finishing concrete surfaces
- Perform rebar installation and ensure reinforcement is correctly positioned before pouring concrete
- Pour concrete into designated areas, ensuring proper placement and compaction using appropriate techniques
- Finish concrete surfaces by smoothing, leveling, and applying textures or coatings as required by project specifications
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and construction plans to accurately execute tasks
- Follow all construction workplace safety regulations and protocols to maintain a safe environment for all team members
Qualifications
- Prior experience working on construction sites or in related roles within the construction industry is preferred
- Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with construction estimating are advantageous
- Knowledge of concrete forming, cutting, pouring, finishing, and related masonry techniques
- Experience with heavy lifting, use of hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment such as concrete pumps is desirable
