What are the responsibilities and job description for the Certified Medical Assistant - (Flower Mound & Keller) position at DFW Endocrinology?
We are seeking a dependable, compassionate Medical Assistant who is looking for a long-term opportunity to grow with our practice. Our ideal candidate is organized, proactive, patient-focused, and committed to building lasting relationships with both patients and team members.

We have 2 locations - Flower Mound (3 days/week) and North Fort Worth/Keller (2 days/week). Looking for candidates who can travel to both locations.
Responsibilities:
- Room and prepare patients for provider visits
- Obtain and document vital signs and patient histories
- Assist providers with clinical procedures as needed
- Coordinate patient care and follow-up communications
- Manage prescription refill requests and prior authorizations
- Maintain accurate documentation within the electronic medical record
- Support front-office and administrative workflows when needed
- Help ensure an efficient, positive patient experience
Qualifications:
- High School Graduate or equivalent
- Medical Assistant certification
- Reliable transportation and ability to work at both clinic locations
- Commitment to professionalism, accountability, and patient-centered care
- Computer Proficiency is required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Previous outpatient clinic experience preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Electronic Medical Records (EMR) knowledge and experience is preferred
- Willingness to learn diabetes and endocrine care
- References/Background check may be requested
