We are a newly established, privately owned medical clinic seeking an experienced, motivated, and patient-focused Certified Medical Assistant to join our team. Responsibilities
- Room patients and obtain accurate vital signs and medical histories
- Prepare patients for examinations and procedures
- Perform venipuncture and specimen collection (phlebotomy experience required)
- Administer injections and assist with in-office procedures as directed
- Manage patient communications including phone calls and messages
- Document patient information accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR)
- Maintain exam rooms, supplies, and clinical equipment
- Coordinate referrals, laboratory testing, and follow-up care
- Provide outstanding customer service and ensure a positive patient experience
- Assist with various clinical and administrative duties as needed in a startup environment
Qualifications
- Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification required
- Minimum of 1 year of medical assistant experience preferred
- Proven phlebotomy experience required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Ability to adapt quickly and learn new processes
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Positive attitude, professional appearance, and strong work ethic
- Reliable, dependable, and able to work independently as well as part of a team
