Job Overview
We are seeking a driven, confident, and physically capable Auto Salesperson to join our used car dealership team. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working outdoors on the lot, assisting with vehicle movement, and handling a fast-paced, hands-on sales environment. Strong communication skills, professional presence, and the ability to build trust with customers are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers, identify their needs, and guide them through the vehicle selection process.
- Explain vehicle features, history reports, pricing, warranties, and financing options.
- Conduct test drives and ensure proper documentation.
- Move vehicles around the lot as needed; assist with light physical tasks such as placing signs, arranging inventory, or preparing vehicles for customers.
- Negotiate pricing and finalize sales in accordance with dealership policies.
- Maintain full product knowledge of inventory and incoming vehicles.
- Follow up with leads and previous customers.
- Accurately complete all sales paperwork.
- Support the overall cleanliness and organization of the showroom and lot.
DFW Auto welcomes customers Monday through Saturday from 9 AM to 7 PM. During these hours, our team is available to answer questions, show vehicles, and ensure you have a smooth and enjoyable car-buying experience.
As a 1099 contractor, you will be responsible for your own taxes and record-keeping, and will operate with the independence typical of contractor status.
