POSITION SUMMARY

Under general supervision, performs order fulfillment, shipping and receiving duties and supports other various warehouse and bottling functions. This position is scheduled to work an alternative workweek, 5am - 3:30pm, Monday through Thursday. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Loads and unloads trucks of wine, glass, and other materials
• Pulls and stages fulfillment orders
• Performs finish product movements to include scanning loads for Warehouse tracking purposes
• Pulls, verifies, and stages materials for bottling lines

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Loads/unloads trucks and completes necessary paperwork
• Pulls, verifies, palletizes and stages fulfillment orders
• Performs daily forklift checks
• Posts all necessary inventory transactions using a handheld device/barcoding; this includes movements, picks, shipments, etc.
• Posts all necessary inventory transactions in JDE; this includes movements, picks, shipments, etc.
• Cycle count inventory as needed. Participates in annual/bi-annual inventory
• Responsible for operating and the loading/unloading forklifts and trucks
• Completes all other work or tasks as assigned by manager

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be highly detail oriented to ensure accuracy of inventory, data, transactions, entries, etc.
• Demonstrate strong math skills. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma
• 1-2 years related job experience
• Valid Forklift Certification with 1 years of experience

 LANGUAGE SKILLS

Advanced English language skills including ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures manuals. 

 MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. 

Demonstrate strong math skills.

 CERTIFICATION, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Forklift certification is a requirement for this position. Clamp experience desired; however, we will train the right candidate.

WORKING CONDITIONS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk to hear.  The employee frequently is required to sit and reach with hands and arms.  The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk.  The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts and fumes or airborne particles.  The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Salary

$22.00 - 24.00 per hour. This base hourly range reflects the expected hiring range for this position. Please note that this is solely for candidates hired to perform work within California and refers to the amount DFG Beverage is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted salary range based upon the candidate’s geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
