We are seeking a full-time BSA (Bank Secrecy Act) Compliance Specialist to join our team in a hybrid capacity. Based in Dearborn, MI, this role offers a blend of in-office and remote work flexibility. The BSA Compliance Specialist will oversee compliance with BSA/Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations, ensuring policies and procedures are followed. Responsibilities include monitoring activities for suspicious transactions, conducting investigations, preparing regulatory reports, staying updated on compliance regulations, and supporting audits. The selected candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to further enhance DFCU Financial's commitment to compliance and operational excellence.
- Proficiency in BSA/AML compliance, fraud detection, risk assessments, and internal controls
- Strong analytical and investigative skills to assess suspicious activity and prepare regulatory reports
- Familiarity with relevant banking and financial laws, regulations, and best practices
- Experience in leveraging compliance software tools and conducting audits
- Excellent communication and report-writing skills
- Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently and in a hybrid work environment
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; certifications such as CAMS are a plus
