Equivalent combinations of successfully completed graduate level education and experience may be used to meet total experience requirements.

- Receive and review various court orders to determine the sufficiency of the legal documentation submitted for consideration.
- Analyze facts of individual case and research the laws to determine whether statutory requirements (i.e. service to process, exemption of pay, or other support provisions) have been met.
- Provide advice/assistance to customers; make determinations of legal validity regarding all forms of garnishments, involuntary allotments, and bankruptcies and applications under Uniformed Services Former Spouses' Protection Act.
- Conduct legal research regarding pay, garnishments, involuntary allotments, bankruptcies, or collections.
- Duties will be developmental in nature when the position is filled below the full performance level.
