Role snapshot — Bristol, IN
Lead our maintenance department and serve as a key partner to operations. Reporting to the General Manager, you will support facilities, sustain and improve existing assets, and design/implement new machinery and processes to elevate safety, quality, and efficiency.

- Data-driven estimates for production times, staffing, and costs that guide smart decisions.
- Optimized layouts for equipment and workspaces to maximize throughput and safety.
- Effective vendor partnerships for equipment selection, purchasing, and qualification.
- Clear accountability and development for a high-performing maintenance team.
Core responsibilities
- Supervise maintenance technicians: recruit, hire, train, schedule, assign tasks, appraise performance, reward, discipline, and resolve issues.
- Develop, implement, and audit maintenance procedures; maintain the PM program.
- Evaluate and improve manufacturing methods; design machinery, tooling, and efficient production methods.
- Analyze workforce utilization, space, and workflow; design layouts for maximum efficiency.
- Troubleshoot complex issues across electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and plumbing systems.
- Partner with vendors on product specs; coordinate purchase of equipment, materials, and parts; validate against specs and quality standards.
- Collaborate with management, engineering, and production on capabilities and schedules to enable production.
- Estimate production times, staffing, and costs; apply statistical methods to project future manufacturing needs and potential.
- Track expenses and manage the maintenance budget; assist with CAPEX planning and the plant operating budget.
- Plan and oversee repairs and installations; allocate workload; supervise facility maintenance and service providers; maintain accurate activity reporting.
- Adapt to production needs with flexible/extended hours; perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
- 3 years related experience or a combination of education and experience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated supervisory experience and team leadership.

Preferred skills
- Robotics exposure.
- E-Maintenance program familiarity.
