JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Electrician to support our overnight operations by ensuring the reliability and performance of critical manufacturing equipment. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional with strong troubleshooting abilities and experience in industrial electrical systems, automation, and controls.
You’ll play a key role in minimizing downtime, improving equipment performance, and supporting a safe and efficient production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electrical issues in accordance with established codes, standards, and best practices
- Perform advanced troubleshooting on industrial equipment, including CNC machinery and robotic systems
- Analyze equipment failures and implement effective, long-term solutions
- Troubleshoot and modify PLC systems, including ladder logic, using diagnostic software and tools
- Maintain and repair solid-state devices and integrated control systems
- Support and execute repairs independently, while also providing guidance to team members when needed
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance
- Respond to production needs with a sense of urgency to minimize downtime
- Step into a leadership role during the shift when supervisors are not present
What You Bring
- Strong background in industrial electrical systems, automation, CNC, and robotics
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex electrical and control systems
- Working knowledge of electrical theory and formulas as applied in a manufacturing setting
- Experience with PLCs and ladder logic programming and diagnostics
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed to support production demands

QUALIFICATIONS & EDUCATION:
- Associate’s degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or 5 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
