As a Salesforce Administrator, you will play a crucial role in managing and customizing the salesforce CRM system to suit the specific needs of the organization and further business strategy and objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage user accounts end-to-end, including onboarding, deactivation and maintaining roles, profiles and permission sets to ensure proper access and data security.
- Provide day-to-day support, troubleshoot issues, and provide training to Salesforce users by creating user guides and conducting training sessions.
- Tailor the Salesforce environment to fit the company’s workflow and processes. Customize fields, page layouts, record types and create custom objects to support operational needs.
- Ensure salesforce data integrity by managing security settings and conducting regular security audits. Oversee data imports, exports and updates, removing duplicates and ensuring accurate records.
- Implement automation tools within salesforce, such as workflows, process builders and validation rules, to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
- Manage salesforce-related projects, coordinating with different departments to understand their needs and implementing solutions accordingly. Staying updated with new salesforce features and updates, and assessing how they can be utilized for the benefit of the company.
- Coordinate with external salesforce vendors or consultants for additional support or specialized projects.
- Research, install, maintain and upgrade third party packages into the salesforce environment
- Stay current on change to the core salesforce clouds (Sales, Service, Experience)
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal policies regarding data management and security best practices.
Qualifications
- Salesforce Platform Administrator Certification
- 2 year experience in Salesforce Administration
- Experience providing support and training to end-users
- Salesforce Administrator Certification (Preferred)
- Experience working with Gearset or comparable DevOps platforms.
