About the Role
As a Senior Backend Engineer you will work on backend and infrastructure systems to design, build and maintain a fast and reliable experience for customers. You will collaborate with other engineers to develop the APIs, data models and services that power their products at scale. This role requires a strong understanding of databases, query optimization and distributed systems along with comfort integrating third-party vendors into existing first-party code.
The Stack
Python, Flask, SQLAlchemy, TypeScript, React, Kubernetes and AWS. They are open to candidates willing to learn these technologies quickly.
What They Are Looking For
Strong understanding of databases, query optimization and distributed systems. Experience designing and building scalable APIs and backend services. Comfort working across a modern cloud-based stack. Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work closely with other engineers across the organization.
