Overview:
Seeking a hands-on Regional HR Operations Manager to lead HR service delivery across the US and Canada. This role oversees a team of HR and Payroll professionals and is responsible for HR administration, benefits, compliance, recruitment coordination, leave management, payroll support, and process improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of HR & Payroll specialists supporting US and Canada operations.
- Ensure accurate and timely execution of HR processes, compliance, and regulatory reporting.
- Manage benefits administration, including open enrollment, vendor management, and retirement plan compliance.
- Support payroll activities through audits, data accuracy, reconciliations, and collaboration with finance teams.
- Oversee recruitment coordination, candidate communication, and ATS management.
- Administer leave programs (FMLA, ADA, parental leave, and Canadian statutory leaves).
- Develop SOPs, standardize HR processes, and drive operational efficiency.
- Utilize HR data and analytics to identify issues, optimize workflows, and enhance employee experience.
- Manage vendor relationships and collaboration with HR leadership teams.
Requirements:
- 6 years in HR Operations with 3 years in a leadership role.
- Strong experience supporting both US and Canada HR Operations (must-have).
- Deep understanding of HR laws, compliance, and benefits regulations (ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA).
- 5 years of benefits administration and open enrollment management.
- Experience with payroll support for US and Canada.
- Proficiency with HRIS/ATS platforms; Oracle HCM preferred (Workday/SAP also accepted).
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to drive process improvements and manage cross-functional HR initiatives.
