Title: Forklift Operator

Location: Athens, GA 30601

Duration: 12 months (Possibilities of Extension)

Schedule: 1st Shift | Monday-Thursday, 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM Occasional overtime may be required on Fridays and/or Saturdays
Pay Rate: $16 - $17 hourly on W2

Position Overview: We are seeking a dependable, safety-focused PIV Operator to join our Materials team. This role is critical to supporting production lines and ensuring material flow throughout the warehouse and manufacturing areas.

Key Responsibilities:
· Operate Powered Industrial Vehicles (PIVs), including forklifts, tuggers, order pickers, and reach trucks.
· Use PC handheld scanners to complete material movement and job tasks.
· Load and unload materials from trucks, trailers, and production lines.
· Transport pallets, components, and finished goods to designated locations.
· Support production lines with material movement aligned to production needs.
· Perform daily equipment inspections and report safety or maintenance concerns.
· Maintain accurate inventory transactions using scanners or required documentation.
· Follow all OSHA, company, and site-specific safety standards.
· Assist with general warehouse or production tasks as needed.
· Work may involve rotating between PIV and non-PIV assignments based on operational needs.
· Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
· Prior PIV experience preferred (training available for candidates with relevant warehouse or material handling experience).
· Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and remain on your feet for extended periods.
· Strong attention to detail with a commitment to safety and quality.
· Reliable attendance and a team-oriented attitude.

Education : High School required
