What are the responsibilities and job description for the DevOps Engineer position at Dexian?
Job Location: Jersey City, NJ (3 days onsite & 2 days remote)
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering experience.
- Hands-on experience with ClickHouse in production environments.
- Experience with DuckDB or other analytical/OLAP databases is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of analytical database platforms and distributed data systems.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and OpenShift.
- Experience building CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, or Tekton.
- Experience with Terraform, Ansible, or other Infrastructure as Code tools.
- Strong Linux administration and scripting skills (Bash/Python).
- Experience with Git and modern DevOps practices.
- Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience with Kafka, Elasticsearch, Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, or Cribl.
- Knowledge of observability, monitoring, and distributed systems.
- Experience supporting mission-critical, high-availability production environments.
