Must-Have Requirements
- Experience supporting large commercial projects for a GC or developer
- 2–5 years of relevant construction experience
- Exposure to project planning and management tools
What We’re Looking For
- 1–4 years of experience as an Assistant Project Manager, Project Coordinator, or similar role—preferably with a GC or on large-scale work
- Strong understanding of construction documents, scheduling, workflows, and project management fundamentals
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to juggle competing priorities
- Proficiency with software such as Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, or similar platforms
- Experience supporting $10M projects or complex tenant improvement/upgrade work preferred
- Exposure to multi-site or national project portfolios a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or equivalent experience preferred
Key Responsibilities
Project Coordination & Execution
- Support the Director of Construction and project leaders throughout the full project lifecycle
- Coordinate cross-functional communication with Engineering, VDC, Procurement, Prefabrication, Field Ops, and Safety
- Track schedules, budgets, change orders, and overall project progress
- Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, material logistics, and deliverables
- Maintain project documentation: plans, scopes, RFI logs, meeting minutes, and status reports
Stakeholder Communication
- Act as a liaison between internal teams, GCs, subcontractors, and external stakeholders
- Participate in project meetings and deliver updates on milestones, risks, and decisions
- Ensure alignment with company standards, processes, and quality expectations
Risk Mitigation & Compliance
- Monitor risks, schedule challenges, conflicts, and resource impacts
- Support field teams in maintaining safety compliance and best practices
- Assist with quality control, punch lists, field documentation, and turnover readiness
Financial & Administrative Support
- Assist with budget tracking, forecasting, invoice review, and financial reporting
- Maintain accurate and organized project records including contracts, logs, and revisions
- Support cost-control and value-engineering initiatives
