What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mainframe Developer (Hybrid in Chicago) position at Dexian Signature Consultants?
Mainframe Developer Needed (Cobol on the Z).
Hybrid in Downtown Chicago 3X per week.
Long-term contract and 40 hours per week M-F.
Recent Technical skills Needed:
- Cobol programming.
- JCL.
- DB2.
- Stored procedures -> DB2 or comparable stored procedures development experience.
- Mainframe to Java integration awareness -> don't need hands on java experience; just need to understand how calls are made between the mainframe and Java layers.
- Must have previously worked on a regulatory-driven project or initiative.
- Candidates with strong securities lending or domain knowledge will be the front runner.
