Overview:
Seeking a seasoned Director of Data Engineering to lead the design, development, and management of scalable data architectures and pipelines.
This role will drive data strategy, mentor engineering teams, and collaborate across functions to deliver actionable insights for the business.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead and mentor a team of data engineers, fostering collaboration and best practices.
Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines, warehouses, and lake architectures.
Translate business and analytical requirements into technical solutions.
Drive data strategy initiatives and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Ensure data governance, security, and compliance standards are met.

Qualifications:
10 years in data engineering, with 3 years in a leadership role.
Proficiency in Python, SQL, Spark/Hadoop, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
Strong experience with ETL/ELT, data modeling, and modern data architectures (Snowflake, RedShift, Databricks).
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills; ability to influence senior stakeholders.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
