DeWitt & Associates, Inc., a Springfield-based and employee-owned commercial construction company with a rich history and a reputation for service with integrity, is searching for a Project Manager with a passion for building and service.
The key responsibilities and duties of this position include:
- Manage assigned construction projects, with ultimate responsibility for project success, including the following:
- Assist superintendent with management of subcontractors and project schedules
- Monitor and manage project labor and material costs and productivity
- Monitor and administer QA/QC program with superintendent with emphasis on QA
- Serve as relationship manager for clients and maintain subcontractor, vendor and community relationships
- Guide and support project staff
- Assist estimators with bidding, provide productivity/unit cost trends and subcontractor/vendor performance information
Preferred candidate qualifications include:
- Bachelor’s Degree (Construction Management or Business Administration is preferred) or equivalent industry experience
- A minimum five years of industry experience is preferred
- Candidates must display a high degree of professionalism
- Candidates should demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365 including Outlook, Word and Excel, and experience with project management and scheduling applications and other construction technology
