Job Overview
The System Alert Triage Assistant is responsible for receiving, initially analyzing, classifying, and prioritizing various system monitoring alerts, ensuring that alert information is accurate and priorities are clear. They will escalate or assign alerts promptly according to established procedures to support stable system operation. This role does not involve fault repair; its core responsibilities are alert triage, classification, and assignment. Core Responsibilities
I. Alarm Reception and Initial Analysis
Receive alarm information from monitoring systems (servers, applications, databases, networks, etc.)
Verify the completeness and validity of alarm content
Perform basic judgment to distinguish between real alarms and false positives
II. Alarm Classification and Prioritization
Classify alarms according to established rules (performance, availability, security, etc.)
Prioritize alarms based on impact scope and urgency (P1 / P2 / P3 / P4)
Annotate alarm source, affected systems, and initial impact description
III. Alarm Routing and Escalation
Assign alarms to the appropriate technical teams based on alarm priority
Escalate high-priority alarms promptly and notify relevant personnel
Track alarm processing progress and record key time points
IV. Alarm Recording and Reporting
Maintain alarm processing logs and records
Compile daily/weekly alarm statistical reports
Summarize high-frequency and recurring alarms for optimization analysis
V. Process and Standard Support
Strictly follow alarm handling procedures and on-call standards
Assist in updating alarm classification rules and operating guidelines
Provide alarm data support for operational reviews or audits
Qualifications
Education Background
Associate's degree or above, preferably in Computer Science, Information Systems, Networking, or a related field
Skills and Experience
Understanding of basic IT architecture (servers, applications, databases, networks)
Experience in NOC, operations support, or technical support is preferred
Excellent recent graduates or career changers are welcome
Tools and Abilities
Familiarity with common monitoring and alerting tools (Zabbix, Prometheus, CloudWatch, Datadog, etc.) is preferred
Ability to accurately and clearly record and communicate technical information
