We are seeking a highly experienced Provider Relations Specialist with a strong track record in nationwide provider contracting and managed care partnerships. This role will be instrumental in building and managing provider networks, securing contracts, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead national provider contracting efforts to expand and strengthen our PERS service network.
- Develop, negotiate, and execute provider agreements with health plans and other payer organizations.
- Serve as a primary liaison between providers, health plans, and internal teams to ensure alignment on contract terms, compliance, and delivery of services.
- Build and sustain strategic relationships with payers, providers, and key stakeholders to drive growth and network performance.
- Promote provider understanding of services, reimbursement structures, requirements, policies, and processes.
- Monitor and assess provider performance and compliance; proactively resolve issues and escalations.
- Lead provider education sessions, onboarding, and ongoing engagement initiatives.
- Maintain up‑to‑date records in contract management systems and support reporting on network outcomes and trends.
Qualifications
- 3 years of provider relations, contracting, or managed care experience, preferably within PERS services.
- Demonstrated experience with national contracts and multi‑state network expansion.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple initiatives, and operate in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong analytical, presentation, and organizational skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Public Health, or equivalent experience preferred.
