Community Supports Part Time Transportation Driver

ABiLITY is hiring a Transportation Driver to support individuals with developmental disabilities through safe transportation, community activities, and life-enrichment programs.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping others, prefers a predictable weekday schedule, and likes a mix of driving and hands-on support.

Schedule
Split shift schedule
- Morning Route: Starts as early as 6:45 AM and ends around 9:30 AM
- Afternoon Route: Starts around 1:45 PM and ends by 5:00 PM
- Average 20–30 hours per week
- Additional opportunities for evening recreation events and Special Olympics coaching may be available.

What You’ll Do
- Safely transport individuals to and from programs and community activities using agency vehicles
- Support individuals during community outings, recreation, and social activities
- Assist with Special Olympics practices and events as needed
- Complete simple daily documentation and transportation logs
What We’re Looking For
- Compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented
- Age 25
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license and reliable personal transportation
- State minimum auto insurance coverage
- Class E (Chauffeur’s) License or willingness to obtain—we help you get it!
- Ability to pass pre-employment DOT physical (agency paid)
- Willingness to complete paid CPR, First Aid, CPI, and Medication Aide training
