With a team of 200 dedicated staff, we offer a wide range of services from Early Intervention to adult residential, employment, and community programs. Job Responsibilities

DDRC is seeking an experienced and compassionate Early Intervention Speech Language Pathologist to join our growing team. This role is ideal for professionals passionate about child development, family centered services, and supporting children birth to three with developmental needs. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will deliver high quality services through a transdisciplinary/primary service provider model, manage your own caseload, and work closely with families to support meaningful developmental progress.

In this position, you will participate in the development and ongoing implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs), ensuring that services are timely, coordinated, and aligned with both family goals and state early intervention guidelines. You will maintain accurate and compliant documentation for service delivery and billing, keeping required provider profiles current and meeting established productivity expectations. Strong professional communication, independent judgment, and the ability to organize and prioritize work are essential to success in this role.

This role also includes participating in team meetings, providing input on program improvement, completing administrative tasks such as timekeeping and mileage, and maintaining all required certifications and training. You will engage in ongoing professional development, remain flexible as program needs shift, and uphold all legal and ethical responsibilities, including ensuring child safety and meeting mandated reporting requirements.

 

What You Bring to the Role

  • Master's in Speech-Language Pathology, Certificate of Clinical Competence and Colorado license.  
  • Knowledge of: 
  • Developmental disabilities and developmentally appropriate practices and interventions related to the birth to three population  
  • Transdisciplinary and primary provider practices  
  • Family dynamics and the ability to interact effectively with a variety of individuals in a professional service setting  

WORK ENVIROMENT & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Work in a variety of community-based settings, including family homes, office locations, and other approved service environments.
  • Travel to multiple locations by vehicle, sometimes in different weather conditions.
  • Use standard office and electronic equipment such as a computer, phone, and materials needed for service delivery.
  • Spend time sitting-sometimes on the floor-and use a computer for portions of the day.
  • Stand and move frequently throughout the workday, including standing for up to 30 minutes during activities and services.
