Personal Needs Compliance Specialist
Location: 11177 W 8th Ave. Lakewood, CO 80215
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Status: Non‑Exempt | Full‑Time
Salary Range - $21.00-$23.10/Hour

About the Role
DDRC is seeking a detail‑oriented and mission‑driven Personal Needs Compliance Specialist to help manage and audit personal funds for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. In this role, you'll ensure funds are handled ethically, accurately, and in compliance with federal and state requirements-while supporting individual choice, dignity, and independence.
What You'll Do
- Oversee and monitor personal needs funds to ensure proper use and compliance
- Maintain accurate financial records and complete required SSA reporting
- Review spending activity and identify potential concerns or risks
- Support person‑centered financial decision‑making that aligns with individual goals
- Collaborate with case managers, residential teams, guardians, and finance staff
- Assist with audits and compliance reviews as needed
What We're Looking For
- Experience in IDD services, case management, benefits administration, or a financial/fiduciary role
- Knowledge of SSA Representative Payee responsibilities and HCBS regulations (or ability to learn)
- Strong organization, documentation, and communication skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic documentation systems
