Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated School Psychologist to join our team. The School Psychologist will work within an educational setting to support students' academic achievement, social-emotional development, and behavioral health.
Duties
- Conduct psychological assessments to evaluate students' learning, behavior, and mental health needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to develop and implement interventions for students
- Provide counseling services to students individually or in groups
- Assist in developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with special needs
- Conduct crisis interventions when necessary
- Administer and interpret psychological tests to assess cognitive abilities and emotional well-being
- Maintain accurate and confidential student records
Skills
- Proficiency in conducting psychological assessments and interpreting results
- Experience working with students of various ages and backgrounds
- Knowledge of early intervention strategies and crisis intervention techniques
- Familiarity with child and family counseling practices
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and other professionals
- Strong understanding of school psychology principles and practices
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
- Competency in medical documentation related to psychological services
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $90.00 - $105.00 per hour
