The Woodlands (Houston), USA.
Key responsibilities
- Processing and booking of incoming invoices for the European companies within the Group
- Processing of travel expenses
- Monitoring, reconciliation, and maintenance of open creditor items, including clarification of discrepancies
- Close collaboration with internal departments and external vendors to ensure accurate and timely invoice processing
- Active support of monthly and annual financial statements
- Participation in projects related to process optimization and the ongoing redesign of the Finance department
Skills, knowledge and expertise
- Completed apprenticeship as Accountant, preferably at least 2 years of relevant work experience
- Alternatively, completed studies in Business Administration with a focus on accounting
- Practical work experience in accounts payable or general accounting
- Independent, structured, and precise way of working
- Hands-on mentality combined with a team-player attitude that is motivating and supportive
- Good communication skills, particularly very good English skills proven in an international environment
- Enjoyment of working in an international and intercultural environment, contributing to the team with an inclusive personality
