What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Project Coordinator position at deugro-group?
Key responsibilities:
- Responsible for the successful, proactive daily operation of export and import, sea/air and heavy haul freight forwarding activities
- Supervise the loading and discharging cargo operation at port of loading or/and port of discharging as well as at jobsite/factories/workshops, etc.
- Receive booking from agents or clients, prepare quotation for clients and follow up with them
- Conduct freight negotiations with carriers, haulers, freight handlers, deugro overseas offices and agents for all modes of transportation, to ensure price competitiveness and profitability
- Follow up with operation & subcontractors until the shipment delivered to customers
- Assist with preparation of RFQ and Bid Tender Responses
- Together with Managing Director and Regional QHSES, to take good care all local QHSES issues of the office
