Detroit Recovery Project is seeking a Clinical Operations Coordinator to support the day-to-day operations of our Integrated Health Clinic. This position serves as the operational lead for front desk functions and patient flow while helping ensure an exceptional experience for persons served, visitors, providers, and staff.
The Clinical Operations Coordinator will work closely with the VP of Integrated Health and clinic staff to support efficient clinic operations, oversee front desk workflows, assist with patient access and scheduling processes, and help maintain a welcoming, professional environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced healthcare professional who enjoys balancing administrative leadership, patient service, and clinic operations.
Compensation
The salary range for this position is $21.63-$22.60 per hour, based on non-discriminatory factors such as education, experience, certifications, technical skills, and overall qualifications.
This is a full-time, non-exempt position and is eligible for overtime compensation in accordance with applicable laws and organizational policies.

Detroit Recovery Project is seeking an organized, customer-focused professional with experience supporting outpatient healthcare operations. The ideal candidate has experience working in a medical, behavioral health, or integrated healthcare setting and can effectively coordinate front desk operations while supporting both staff and persons served.
Candidates with experience using NextGen EHR and those holding CMA or CNA credentials are strongly encouraged to apply.

What You'll Do
- Coordinate day-to-day clinic operations and front desk workflow
- Provide day-to-day oversight, training, and support to front desk staff
- Assist with onboarding, coaching, and performance feedback for front desk staff.
- Monitor patient scheduling, registration, check-in, and check-out processes
- Ensure accurate demographic, insurance, and patient information is maintained within the electronic health record
- Support patient flow and clinic efficiency initiatives
- Assist with resolving patient concerns and operational issues
- Collaborate with providers, leadership, and support staff to ensure quality service delivery
- Assist with obtaining vital signs and basic clinical support duties when qualified and within certification scope
- Maintain clinic supplies and support overall office operations
- Assist with chart preparation, scanning, filing, and record management
- Support compliance with HIPAA, organizational policies, and regulatory requirements
- Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and quality improvement initiatives
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Associate degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a healthcare, medical office, behavioral health, or outpatient clinic setting
- Previous supervisory or lead experience preferred
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential preferred
- Experience with Electronic Medical Records/Electronic Health Records required
- Experience with NextGen EHR strongly preferred
- Strong customer service, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Valid Michigan Driver's License preferred
