Overview:
We are seeking a versatile and detail-oriented Product Technician to support our engineering, product development, and sales teams. This role bridges technical expertise and hands-on support, contributing to various areas including CAD design, product documentation, testing, and system support. The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative environment and be eager to grow their skills in areas such as SolidWorks, product certification, and controls programming.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the engineering team with technical drawings, lab testing, and organization
- Support AI interface management and product database upkeep
- Collaborate on CAD and SolidWorks drawings (training provided if needed)
- Contribute to controls programming and wiring/controls diagram creation and updates
- Provide basic support for technical service calls
- Assist with product certification processes and audits (training provided)
- Create and update wiring diagrams and technical illustrations for product literature
- Support laser programming tasks
- Work with the sales department on Infrared heater layouts
- Offer IT and general technical support across departments
Qualifications:
- Familiarity with CAD software; SolidWorks experience is a plus
- Interest or background in electronics, controls, or mechanical systems
- Basic understanding of technical documentation and drawings
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Willingness to learn and assist in various departments as needed
- Comfortable with basic IT troubleshooting
Preferred Experience:
- Experience with product testing or engineering support roles
- Exposure to AI systems or database platforms
- Background in HVAC, industrial equipment, or manufacturing environments
