Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Fraser, MI, for an HVAC Service Manager. The role involves overseeing all HVAC operations, ensuring quality service delivery, managing a team of technicians, and coordinating with customers to ensure satisfaction. Responsibilities include monitoring and maintaining HVAC systems, scheduling installations and repairs, and resolving customer inquiries effectively. The HVAC Manager will also identify opportunities to enhance service offerings, support sales efforts, and ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise, lead and support your team to ensure efficient and professional field operations
- Scheduling, coordinating and dispatching daily service routes to maximum optimization
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical and operational escalations in the field
- Track individual technician performance, profitability, upselling, and service call efficiency.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years in a leadership or management role
- Previous experience in project management (preferred)
- Basic knowledge of HVAC systems and operations (preferred)
- Strong skills in Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction, with a focus on building trust and maintaining long-term relationships
- Experience with Sales and identifying opportunities for service improvement or business growth
- Ability to lead and manage a team, ensuring operational efficiency and quality standards
- Strong problem-solving skills and effective communication abilities
- Knowledge of safety protocols and industry standards in HVAC and plumbing
- Relevant certifications or licenses in HVAC or plumbing (preferred)
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality service in a customer-centric environment
