We’re looking for a talented and motivated Eligibility Manager to join our innovative team. In this role, you will provide oversight to the Eligibility Assessors, Support Services and Medical Records departments including daily job functions and special projects. You will also facilitate improved working standards and guidelines for agency/department benchmarks. You will facilitate work processes internally and through collaborative networks. Report outcomes of the referral and enrollment processes against agency benchmarks. Determine/develop better working modules and implement processes for improved performance. Other Essential Duties Performed:
- Prepares and disseminates weekly/monthly reports that reflect productivity, outcomes, and trends analysis.
- Assist LTC-Financial Management in the Rejected Claims auditing process.
- Oversee the responsibilities entailed with Medicaid applications, LOCD screens, documentation, status updates, and enrollment.
- Ensure financial determination is appropriate for the MI Choice waiver program and service requests associated with such.
- Coach, train and develop staff through documentation by performance management and complete performance evaluations
- Assures that agency is in HIPAA compliance regarding consumer confidential information.
- Demonstrate a high level of initiative in completing required tasks.
- Excellent program reporting skills through working relationships with Information and Assistance, Care Management, and Financial Management.
- Ability to manage the case coordination support to the agency’s wait list.
- Provides supervision and leadership to staff, including counseling, setting up performance standards, performing evaluations, recommending promotion and/or discipline.
- Reviews and sign timesheets, mileage (if applicable) and requests for time off.
- Participates in and contributes to the establishment of short term and long-term goals.
- Documents, investigates, and resolves client complaints.
- Attends required seminars, conferences and/or other external meetings.
- Ability to focus on participants’ needs with necessary care and aggressively advocate on their behalf for needed services.
