The Opportunity
The Director of Business Excellence & Integrated Supply Chain Transformation is a key architect of Det-Tronics’ cultural, operational, and business transformation journey. This role blends SIOP leadership, Continuous Improvement (CI), and Order-to-Cash (O2C) optimization with a strong mandate to elevate how teams collaborate, make decisions, and execute work across the enterprise.
As a champion of the We Create Det-Tronics culture, this leader cultivates mindsets and behaviors that foster innovation, problem-solving, accountability, and collaborative performance. The role drives business excellence initiatives that modernize processes, strengthen organizational capabilities, and deliver sustained improvements in customer experience, operational efficiency, and long-term growth.
Key Responsibilities
1. Cultural Transformation & We Create Det-Tronics Advocacy (30%)
- Serve as a cultural catalyst who models, teaches, and reinforces the We Create Det-Tronics behaviors across teams and leadership levels.
- Lead cultural capability initiatives in problem solving, lean thinking, customer focus, and continuous improvement.
- Build a culture of transparency, empowerment, accountability, and data-driven decision-making.
- Facilitate cross-functional alignment and break down silos to strengthen teamwork and shared ownership of goals.
- Mentor leaders and teams on adopting new ways of working during the transformation journey.
2. Business Excellence / Continuous Improvement (25%)
- Own the enterprise Business Excellence roadmap and drive high-impact improvement initiatives aligned with strategic priorities.
- Introduce or enhance frameworks for governance, prioritization, process standardization, KPI alignment, and performance management.
- Coach teams on Lean, Six Sigma, and structured problem-solving to develop organizational capability.
- Drive a consistent approach to business process design, documentation, and continuous improvement.
3. SIOP Ownership & Integrated Business Planning (25%)
- Lead the full SIOP cycle, ensuring disciplined execution of Demand, Supply, and Executive SIOP reviews.
- Drive cross-functional clarity, risk assessment, and scenario planning to support better operational and financial outcomes.
- Improve demand planning accuracy, supply optimization, inventory health, and capacity alignment.
- Strengthen the connection between SIOP, Finance, Operations, and Commercial functions.
- Champion analytics, simplification, and process maturity across the SIOP framework.
4. Order-to-Cash Transformation & Integrated Supply Chain (20%)
- Serve as a core leader in the full Integrated Supply Chain transformation (Order-to-Cash).
- Map, simplify, and optimize the O2C process to improve speed, accuracy, and customer experience.
- Lead cross-functional teams to eliminate waste, reduce backlog, streamline order flow, and enhance production and shipping readiness.
- Implement process controls, automation opportunities, and digital enhancements.
- Ensure alignment between Customer Service, Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Quality, and Finance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, or related field (Advanced degree preferred).
- 7 years of experience in Operations, Supply Chain, CI, SIOP, or similar roles.
- Lean/Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or Black Belt preferred).
- Experience implementing or maturing SIOP/IBP processes.
- Demonstrated success leading measurable business transformation.
Key Competencies
- Deep understanding of SIOP/IBP, demand/supply planning, and operational performance.
- Strong practitioner/expert in Continuous Improvement (Lean, Six Sigma, root cause, VSM).
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence without authority.
- Data-driven mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience improving Order-to-Cash or supply chain processes.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and executive presentation skills.
- Strong change management capabilities.

Salary : $210,000 - $220,000
