About the role
As Accounting Manager for Marioff you are in charge of all accounting and tax activities for the Marioff Finland entity, and also manage accounting and tax for selected other entities of the Marioff Group. You will also be in charge of the consolidated financial statements for Marioff Group. You will supervise a team of Accountants who are in charge of accounting for their respective Marioff subsidiaries. You will play a key role in the development of Marioff’s Accounting function and implementing new processes as required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own statutory accounting and tax activities for Marioff
- Assure accounting compliance with statutory regulations and laws, and also with internal corporate policies
- Lead the Accounting Team under the Marioff HQ entity
- Manage monthly closings in line with the Group’s timelines and reporting processes
- Drive continuous improvement and standardization of Accounting work
- Act as a business partner to other Marioff functions in accounting and tax related matters
To be successful in this role you will need:
- 5 years of relevant Accounting experience from an organization with scale
- Strong knowledge of statutory accounting and tax related matters
- Ability to manage people and drive projects with multiple stakeholders in a global matrix organization
- Business-oriented mindset and desire to deliver results
- Strong interest for process development
- Excellent communication skills with a strong fluency in English, both spoken and written
- Flexibility and ability to work under firm deadlines
- Master degree in relevant field
