About Detail on Demand

Detail on Demand is an on-demand mobile detailing marketplace. We send the customers, handle the booking, payments, and dispatch — you show up with your own setup and deliver a great detail. Think of it like rideshare, but for car detailing.

This is a full-time opportunity. We're looking for detailers who want consistent, steady work week after week — not a side gig. You'll have a real pipeline of jobs in Scottsdale and the volume to make this your primary income. You operate as a 1099 contractor, which means you run your own setup and your own taxes, but you'll be working with us full-time and treated like a core part of the team.

How You Get Paid (Full Transparency)

We believe in being completely upfront about pay before you ever apply. Here is exactly how it works:

• 40% of every job — You keep 40% of the base price of each detail you complete. Paid out weekly.
• 100% of all tips — Every dollar a customer tips is yours. We never touch tips.
• 60% of all upsells — Any add-on service you sell on-site (ceramic coating, engine bay, pet hair, headlight restoration, etc.), you keep 60% of.

Per car: A $249 detail = $99.60 to you (40%). A 15% tip = another $37.35 to you (100% of tips). That's $136.95 per car — before any upsells.

Full-time week (12 cars):

• Base pay: $99.60 × 12 = $1,195.20
• Tips: $37.35 × 12 = $448.20
• Weekly total: $1,643.40 — and that's before a single upsell.

Stack upsells on top (you keep 60%) and the number climbs from there. Payouts run on a weekly schedule directly to your account.

You Bring Your Own Detailing Setup (Full Transparency)

We want zero confusion on this: Detail on Demand does NOT provide equipment, chemicals, or supplies. You are an independent operator and you supply your own complete mobile detailing setup.

We're not going to micromanage what's in your kit — if you're an experienced detailer, you already know what it takes to deliver a full interior and exterior detail start-to-finish. What matters is that you show up fully equipped and ready to work on every job, with everything you need to do the job right and with no support from us.

• Proven experience detailing vehicles (interior exterior)
• Own a complete mobile detailing setup
• Available for full-time work
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Smartphone to receive and manage jobs through our platform
• Professional, on-time, and customer-focused
• Able to pass a background check
• Authorized to work in the United States
