Destiny Water Adventures is hiring for two roles — Dockhand and Hut Staff — and either way, you're spending the season on a Fort Walton Beach waterfront surrounded by good people, happy guests, and a whole lot of sunshine. We're looking for enthusiastic, dependable team players who love being around people and want to be part of something fun. No experience? No problem. Bring the energy and we'll take care of the rest.
What you'll be doing:
- Greeting guests with a warm welcome and making them feel at home from the moment they arrive
- Walking guests through rental options, packages, and safety guidelines so they head out confident and prepared
- Handling the full rental process — paperwork, ID verification, payments, and all
- Conducting pre- and post-rental inspections on boats and jet skis to keep everything running safely
- Assisting guests with boarding and disembarking and enforcing safety regulations on the dock
- Keeping the dock area and equipment clean, fueled, organized, and ready for the next group
- Answering questions, resolving issues, and making sure every guest leaves with a smile
- Pitching in wherever the team needs you — this is a crew effort
Who you are:
- 18 years or older and available for full day shifts (up to 12 hours — yes, in the Florida sun)
- A strong communicator who's at ease talking to all kinds of people all day long
- Physically active and able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Reliable and punctual — your team counts on you showing up ready to go
- Upbeat, customer-focused, and genuinely passionate about making people's day
- No prior experience necessary — we'll train you on everything you need to know
$14–$16/hour based on experience, plus daily tips and commission. Work hard, earn more — it's that simple.
