Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Child Day Center Program Director to lead and oversee the daily operations of a vibrant early childhood education and social services program. Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, implementation, and evaluation of child care programs to meet community needs and organizational goals.
• Supervise social service program staff, including hiring, training, performance management, and ongoing professional development.
• Develop and manage program budgets, monitor expenditures, and ensure financial sustainability.
• Foster positive relationships with families, community partners, vendors, and stakeholders to enhance program outreach and effectiveness.
• Ensure compliance with all licensing regulations, safety standards, and organizational policies related to child care and social services.
• Oversee administrative functions such as record keeping, reporting, client communication, and documentation using Microsoft Office tools.
• Coordinate technical projects or initiatives aimed at improving service delivery or expanding program capacity.
• Promote an inclusive environment by working effectively with individuals from underserved communities and those with developmental disabilities or disabilities in general.
• Lead efforts in program development by identifying new opportunities for growth and adapting services to meet evolving community needs.
• The ability to plan and implement a developmentally appropriate care and education program for children and families; o

• The ability to plan and implement administrative systems that effectively carry out the program’s mission, goals, and objectives
• The ability to administer a program of personnel management and staff development

Experience

• Proven experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or other disabilities in social service settings.
• Demonstrated leadership in social services administration with supervisory experience in managing teams or programs.
• Strong relationship management skills with the ability to build trust among clients, staff, community partners, and stakeholders.
• Extensive administrative experience including budgeting, compliance oversight, and program management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for documentation, reporting, and communication purposes.
• Experience working with underserved communities and bilingual abilities are highly desirable for supporting diverse populations.
• Excellent writing skills for preparing reports, proposals, and correspondence related to program activities.
• Supervising experience in social work or related fields that involve staff supervision and team management is essential.

Pay: $46,088.48 - $55,504.41 per year
