The Elementary Teacher will be responsible for nurturing and educating students in the early grades (Kindergarten -2nd Grade), creating a learning environment that promotes academic achievement, spiritual formation, and strong character development through Biblical teachings.
Instructional Leadership
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate lessons across all core subjects (e.g., Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies) in alignment with the school’s academic standards.
- Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages active learning, critical thinking, creativity, and curiosity.
- Implement differentiated instruction strategies to meet the diverse learning needs of all students in the classroom.
- Regularly assess student progress through informal and formal evaluations, and adjust instruction to ensure student success.
Classroom Management
- Establish and maintain a structured and respectful classroom environment that promotes positive behavior, responsibility, and mutual respect.
- Set clear expectations for student behavior, use appropriate discipline strategies, and provide consistent encouragement and praise for student growth.
- Address students' academic, social, and emotional needs with a focus on fostering self-esteem and positive relationships.
Collaboration and Communication
- Work closely with other teachers, staff, and administrators to create a cohesive learning environment that supports the school’s mission and values.
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress, classroom activities, and any concerns.
- Participate in school-wide activities, parent-teacher conferences, and events that support community building.
Professional Development

Administrative Responsibilities
