Responsibilities
- Design and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards.
- Utilize innovative learning technologies to enhance classroom instruction and student engagement.
- Assess student progress through standardized testing, formative assessments, and project-based evaluations; provide timely feedback to support growth.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive behavior management strategies to create a safe and inclusive learning environment.
- Provide individualized support through tutoring and mentoring to students who need extra assistance or enrichment opportunities.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum materials that incorporate best practices in education administration and childhood development.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress, behavior, and upcoming activities or assessments.
- Incorporate special education strategies when working with diverse learners to ensure equitable access to education for all students.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and behavioral incidents in accordance with school policies.
Experience
- Classroom experience working with students in a private or public school setting.
- Demonstrated experience in teaching core subjects including Math and Literacy Education
- Knowledge of curriculum development principles and lesson planning techniques that cater to varied learning styles.
- Experience integrating learning technology tools to facilitate interactive lessons and assessments.
- Skilled in classroom management strategies that promote positive behavior and student engagement.
- Familiarity with standardized testing procedures and effective tutoring methods for diverse learners.
- Experience working with children with special education needs or implementing inclusive teaching practices is preferred.
