The Day to Day.
Provide genuine hospitality with heart and style. Always maintain a positive and upbeat attitude.
Greet guests and guide them through the Destination Hospitality steps of service by ‘reading’ them for their desired experience and providing information and options that will provide the experience they seek.
Make food and wine recommendations you genuinely feel your guests will enjoy.
Know and understand menus, ingredients, and preparations. Know and understand allergens and other special dietary needs. Communicate these clearly and effectively to the kitchen and management.
Develop friendly and caring relationships with return guests.
Perform proper wine service for bottle offerings. Know all by the glass wine offerings and varietals. Be able to discuss cocktail offerings and make educated recommendations.
Maintain TIPS certification and understand and practice responsible alcohol service techniques.
Enter orders accurately and efficiently into the point-of-sale system.
Reconcile checks and accurately manage cash.
Complete all side work at the start and end of each shift thoroughly and correctly. Ensure high standards of cleanliness are maintained in all restaurant spaces.
Compensation - $14.81 per hour plus service charges and access to our comprehensive benefits program after 60 days.
