What You’ll Do
- Support the Executive Chef in daily kitchen operations, menu execution, and culinary strategy
- Oversee food preparation to ensure top ‑ tier quality, consistency, presentation, and flavor
- Manage ordering, inventory, vendor relationships, and cost ‑ control initiatives
- Maintain the highest standards of kitchen cleanliness, safety, and sanitation
- Train, mentor, and guide kitchen staff to foster a positive, high ‑ performance team
- Assist with recipe development, testing, and seasonal menu innovation
- Ensure smooth communication across culinary, stewarding, and F&B teams
- Step into leadership roles as needed to support overall kitchen success

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field and a minimum of 1-2 years of guest service experience in a hotel or resort environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- 3–5 years of experience in fine dining or high ‑ volume culinary environments
- Culinary degree or ACF certification preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask, stay calm under pressure, and adapt to guest needs
- Commitment to quality, consistency, and exceptional guest service
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
