Dessert Holdings is looking for an Engineering Administrator to provide administrative support, guidance, and training to the Engineering team. Reporting to the VP of Engineering, this individual will identify opportunities to eliminate transactional waste while achieving strategic objectives and ensuring audit preparation.
Ideally, this individual would be based near one of our facilities in Aurora, CO or Humble, TX, or near company headquarters in St. Paul, MN.

Dessert Holdings is looking for an Engineering Administrator to provide administrative support, guidance, and training to the Engineering team. Reporting to the VP of Engineering, this individual will identify opportunities to eliminate transactional waste while achieving strategic objectives and ensuring audit preparation.
Ideally, this individual would be based near one of our facilities in Aurora, CO or Humble, TX, or near company headquarters in St. Paul, MN.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and report on capital program project list, including the creation and maintenance of slide decks for project and budget status reporting.
- Update and report on cash flow for capital programs, taking into account program changes.
- Create tools to provide visibility for timely decision making and communication.
- Aid in the purchase requisitions and receipt of goods and services, maintaining tight coordination with the Accounting and Finance teams to ensure adherence with capitalization policies.
- Facilitate NDA’s and equipment purchase agreements.
- Act as Engineering Department subject matter expert in use of Power BI and utilize the tool to aid in forecasting and financial reporting.
- Act as Engineering Department Subject Matter Expert in use of D365 - financial, billing, invoice tracking and reporting.
- 2- or 4-year degree (ideally in a STEM-related field, demonstrating the ability to understand technical concepts), or equivalent years of experience
- Strong Excel skills to drive formula creation, detailed analysis, report generation and activity tracking
- 2 years of professional work experience, ideally including administrative support for project management, financial tracking, document management, and creating/updating/delivering reports
- Hands on approach to problem solving with ability to generate creative solutions
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to balance team and individual responsibilities to support group commitments to goals and objectives.
- Understand business implications of decisions, aligns work with strategic goals
- Ability to prioritize and plan work activities, set and meet goals, timelines and objectives.
