Shift: Full-time; Mon. through Fri. (7:30AM - 4:00PM/Mon-Fri.); (or) (7:30AM-5:00PM/Mon-Thurs. & 7:30AM-12:00pm Fri.)
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Upon completion of On-Job-Training)
· Performs all tasks in a safe and responsible manner
· Develops basic knowledge and understanding of CNC machine operations, practices and process with competency.
· Learns to properly and safely loads and unloads raw material in CNC machine
· Uses gages and measuring instruments to meet tolerance requirement
· Develop ability to read, understand and keep record of all production paperwork and inspection reports
· Learn to measure and cut raw stock into blanks for machining
· Performs daily and regular cleaning and light maintenance tasks on CNC machinery
· Utilizes and abides by ISO requirements and safety procedures
· Complies with all quality policies, specifications, regulations, instructions and requirements of the DesignWerkes Inc handbook.
Qualifications
To perform this job satisfactorily, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Education and Experience
High school diploma, GED or equivalent work experience.
Language Skills
Effectively communicate and understand job instructions both verbally and written in the English language.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to perform basic mathematical computations.
Physical Demands
Ability to move or transfer product of at least 50lbs when required. While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands or fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and listen with ears. The employee may be required to stoop, kneel, crouch or climb as part of their job.
