Experienced CNC Machine Operator: 5 years of experience running CNC equipment in a production environment. This role focuses on operating machines, maintaining production, and ensuring quality parts. Machine setups will be handled by experienced Setup personnel. Room for growth and excellent benefits! HS Diploma or GED
Shift: Days/ Full-time; Mon. through Fri. (7:30AM - 4:00PM/Mon-Fri.); (or) (7:30AM-5:00PM/Mon-Thurs. & 7:30AM-12:00pm Fri.)
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
· Operate CNC machines to produce parts according to drawings and work instructions
- Maintain consistent production while monitoring part quality
- Perform basic inspections using calipers, micrometers, and gauges
- Check parts during production to ensure they meet specifications (ie. Deburring, In Process Inspections)
- Notify supervisors or setup personnel if issues arise
- Keep work area clean and organized
· Utilizes and abides by ISO requirements and safety procedures
· Complies with all quality policies, specifications, regulations, instructions and requirements of the DesignWerkes Inc handbook.
Required Qualifications
- 5 years CNC machine operating experience
- Ability to read basic shop drawings
- Basic inspection and measurement skills
- Attention to detail and reliability
- Self-motivated and able to maintain production
Education and Experience
High school diploma, GED or equivalent work experience.
Language Skills
Effectively communicate and understand job instructions both verbally and written in the English language.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to perform basic mathematical computations.
Physical Demands
Ability to move or transfer product of at least 50lbs when required. While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands or fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and listen with ears.
