We are recruiting for a Regional Sales Manager for an established medical device sales territory based in Denver, Colorado. The Regional Sales Manager will manage and grow an active customer base of physicians, surgeons, ophthalmologists, dentists, hospitals, and medical schools across Colorado, South Dakota, North Dakota, parts of Montana, and select areas of Kansas and Nebraska. This outside sales role focuses on account management, territory management, in-person product demonstrations, clinical education, and new business development.
Territory:
The Regional Sales Manager must live in the Denver area. The territory covers Colorado, South Dakota, North Dakota, parts of Montana, and select areas of Kansas and Nebraska. This multi-state territory requires regular air travel and overnight stays.
Travel Requirements:
- Approximately 30% travel within the territory, including air travel and overnight stays
- About 4 to 6 nights away from home per month
- Attendance at approximately 4 to 6 medical conferences and industry events per year
Responsibilities
- Manage an established account base and drive continued sales growth
- Build and maintain relationships with physicians, surgeons, ophthalmologists, dentists, hospitals, and medical schools
- Conduct regular face-to-face sales calls throughout the territory
- Deliver product demonstrations and clinical education sessions to healthcare professionals
- Identify new revenue opportunities within existing accounts
- Develop new business throughout the assigned territory
- Build strategic relationships with healthcare providers and key decision-makers
- Represent the company at industry conventions, trade shows, and medical conferences
- Meet or exceed territory sales objectives
Qualifications
- Proven outside sales experience
- Strong business development and relationship-building skills
- Experience managing a large geographic sales territory independently
- Strong communication and sales presentation skills
- Comfortable with regular air travel and overnight stays
- Self-motivated, organized, and accountable for territory performance
